What to Expect
You fly tandem with a certified paramotor pilot who handles all the technical work while you take in the view. Flights launch from Playa Delfines or Playa Zicatela and run daily from 9:30 AM until sunset — you choose the time that suits you best.
On arrival, your pilot gives you a thorough safety briefing, fits you into the tandem harness, and explains takeoff and landing procedures. Then you walk forward on a flat launch area as the motor lifts you smoothly into the sky. Within seconds the coastline opens up: turquoise shallows giving way to deep blue ocean, surfers reduced to specks on Zicatela's waves.
The flight cruises at 200 to 500 feet, low enough to see detail but high enough for sweeping panoramas. Your pilot adjusts the route based on conditions, often flying along the beach, over palm-covered headlands, and past Puerto Escondido's most iconic landmarks. The experience includes professional photo shooting, and you can add a GoPro video package for an extra $300 MXN.

Transportation is NOT included;
you need to make your own way to the launch site at Playa Delfines or Playa Zicatela. Both are easily reached by taxi or on foot from most accommodations in Puerto Escondido.
Flights run daily from 9:30 AM until sunset; no fixed departure time — message us on WhatsApp to book your preferred time slot. Morning flights tend to have the calmest air and best light.
No experience needed;
your certified pilot handles everything. You just walk forward for takeoff and enjoy the 20-minute flight. The briefing takes about 5 minutes before launch.
Weight limit:
100 kg (220 lbs); please confirm with us when booking if you have questions. This is a safety requirement for tandem flight.
GoPro video is available for $300 MXN extra;
professional photo shooting is included in the base price. Let your pilot know before takeoff if you want the video package.
Flights are weather-dependent;
if winds exceed safe limits, your flight will be rescheduled at no extra cost. Wind conditions change throughout the day, so flexibility with timing helps.
Wildlife spotting from the air;
dolphins and manta rays are commonly seen year-round. During winter months (December–March), you may also spot whales migrating along the coast.
